Élisabeth Marchand Proud
A native of Montréal, Québec, Élisabeth obtained a certificate in Translation Studies from McGill University in 2011. The following year, she moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Translation at the University of Moncton, which she completed in 2015. During her final year of studies, she received the CTINB’s merit award for being the student with the highest cumulative GPA in her cohort.Since completing her studies, Élisabeth has worked as a freelancer for various clients and well-established translation agencies throughout the Maritimes and the rest of Canada, gaining a solid experience in the fields of marketing, social innovation, tourism, corporate communications, and cannabis production.
She is truly passionate about translation and eager to advocate for the profession and the standards of quality which define it.
