Born in Paris, of a Cypriot mother and a French father, Laura has always lived in a multilingual world. After obtaining a master's degree in English, Spanish and French translation from Université Paris 7, Laura moved to New Brunswick to pursue her career as a translator, first in Moncton and then at the Translation Bureau in Fredericton. As she became increasingly attracted to interpretation, she decided in 2010 to take the Master's degree program in Conference Interpretation at the University of Ottawa. Since then, Laura has returned to the New Brunswick Translation Bureau where she currently holds the position of Chief Interpreter. Laura and her partner have a son named Quentin, who was born in 2017.
